An event looking at how youth workers can support young people’s mental health in relation to the diverse communities they belong to.
Supporting young people’s mental health is becoming more and more important and it is often something that needs to be tailored depending on the community a young person belongs to.
In this session we will hear from SeeMe’s youth consultants around mental health stigma and discrimination. We will also have Cynthia Gentle, Network Support Officer for United Voices Network, who regularly runs mental health workshops for young people from Black and Minority Ethnic Communities.
Be ready to participate too as we will have break out rooms during the session to allow you to share your practice and hear from other colleagues about different approaches they take in their communities.
