Helping Prevent Gaming and Gambling Harms

We are working with Ygam to offer a fully funded gaming and gambling harm prevention workshop for professionals who work with children or young people.

On completion you will receive a City & Guilds Certificate and Digital Credential, and have access to our bank of resources, including 1:1 and small group work activities which you can download and use in your setting.

For this training we are delighted to collaborate with Ygam, an award-winning charity with a mission to prevent children and young people from experiencing gaming and gambling harms through awareness raising, education and research.

Through a portfolio of evidence-based programmes, Ygam develop and deliver training and resources for a range of professionals who can have purposeful conversations with children and young people about risks associated with both gaming and gambling.

Recording your Professional Learning

Participating in this training can be recorded as 2.5 hours of Professional Learning time, contributing to the 35 hours per year (pro rata) required for membership of the CLD Standards Council, another professional body, or your own learning and development plan.
