Planet Youth in Scotland - National Learning Event

Are you working to improving the lives of young people in Scotland? Planet Youth invites you to find out more about how this evidence-based approach can bring communities together to enable children and young people to live happier, healthier lives.

Planet Youth (formerly known as the Icelandic Primary Prevention Model) is a highly effective, evidenced based approach to creating better outcomes for children and young people.

Since 2018, the charity Winning Scotland has been working with six local authority areas to test and pilot the model in Scotland.

Join them at the first national learning event to learn more, network and share good practice.

With a mix of plenary sessions and practical workshops, you will leave with a deeper understanding of what Planet Youth is, how it might align with existing ambitions for your area, and ideas for embedding prevention activity into your work.

Who is the event for?

This event will be of interest to those working to improve outcomes for children and young people including those working in public health, community, education, sport and leisure across the third, public and statutory sectors.
