An interactive online training workshop that will support your understanding of how to implement the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach in your work and organisation. The UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 brought important children’s rights protections into law in Scotland, and taking a Children’s Human Rights Approach is crucial to ensure that children’s rights are implemented in practice.

The workshop aims to equip attendees with:

• An understanding of a Children’s Human Rights Approach.
• How they can consider children’s rights in their work.
• Knowledge of the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach.
• Ideas for how to implement the five principles in their working practice.
• Resources for further study.

You do not need any prior children’s rights knowledge to attend this course.
