Helping young people at risk of criminal involvement to stay out of trouble and assist in the rehabilitation of offenders, particularly young offenders. Deadline: Thursday 14 March 2024.
Registered charities with an annual income of less than £250,000 can apply for up to £15,000.
The Benevolent Fund helps young people at risk of criminal involvement to stay out of trouble and assist in the rehabilitation of offenders, particularly young offenders both in prison and after release. The Fund prefers to help new projects in the early stages and, in particular, innovatory projects which could act as a model for similar work elsewhere. The priorities of the fund are to help offenders and ex-offenders, particularly those under 30 years of age and disadvantaged young people.
Small organisations and charities that offer direct services are preferred.
The next closing date for applications is Thursday 14 March 2024. Applications can be made at any time and will be shortlisted for consideration by the Charitable Grants Committee.
