The City of Edinburgh Council welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds who hold a CLD or equivalent qualification. You will have extensive experience of youth and children’s work, including developing policy and strategy. Your experience and skills should include managing and developing a team and you will be a strategic and inspiring leader.
Important aspects of the job include building effective partnerships with schools, other Council services and third sector providers. A good understanding and knowledge of current national priorities and policies relating to youth and children’s work and education is essential. In addition, you will demonstrate creativity and innovation in planning, designing and implementing specialist projects, initiatives and citywide services.
