The Woodward Charitable Trust

Children and young people who are isolated, at risk of exclusion or involved in antisocial behaviour are among the areas supported by this fund. The General Grant round is now closed. The next round will open in early June 2024 (date tbc).

The Woodward Charitable Trust is a grant-making trust that funds small to medium-sized charities in the UK with an income of less than £200,000. The general grant funds organisations that work with children and young people who are isolated, at risk of exclusion or involved in antisocial behaviour, as well as supporting disadvantaged families, including parenting support and prisoners and ex-offenders.

The trust also runs a summer playscheme grant round for organisations whose income is below £100,000. This opens in Feb/ March each year, with applications reviewed and awarded in May/ June.

Information on applying and general guidance on applying can be found on the Woodward Charitable Trust website.  Prospective applicants should note that less than 15% of applications are successful as the number of applications exceeds the funds that are available.

Please consult the diary dates for applications for the latest deadlines.
