Children’s Rights in Youth Work – Level 2: Rights-Based Youth Work

Aimed at youth work practitioners who want an introductory overview to children’s rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

This event is for youth work practitioners (paid and voluntary) who want to explore rights-based youth work practice.

Please note this is not an introductory session. An introduction course for youth workers on children’s rights is available here.

A 90-minute training developed in partnership by YouthLink Scotland and Education Scotland, this session is an exploration of rights-based practice.

Participants will gain:

This session will be held on Microsoft Teams and will include a short comfort break. It is interactive so we recommend participants have microphone and camera access to get the most out of the session.

Participating in this session can be recorded as 1.5 hours of Professional Learning time, which can contribute to the 35 hours per year (pro rata) required for membership of the CLD Standards Council, another professional body, or your own learning and development plan.
