Youth workers are vital in facilitating young people’s active participation and inclusion in their communities and decision-making. As part of our policy engagement series, we are delighted to bring together international perspectives to explore the enabling power of youth work in creating and sustaining young people’s civic engagement.

This online Convention will highlight how young people develop civic engagement and social action through engagement in youth work.

Youth work needs effective local, national, and international policies and legislation, coupled with a supported youth work workforce, so young people gain the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.

Please join us as we learn through continental perspectives, reconnecting and building new international friendships and supporters of the youth work movement, learning and building a united future for youth work, and garnering more robust recognition in critical public policy strategies and legislation at home and abroad.

This event is free to YouthLink Scotland Members and £45.00 for non-members – early sign up is advised.
