This Fund offers blended grant and loan investment to social enterprises, community organisations and charities working within 13 eligible areas of Scotland in order to allow them to meet the needs of their business, achieve their vision and secure their future. The fund can invest between £10,000 and £500,000 per business; up to 50% of this can be in the form of a grant and the remainder a loan.

Loans can be repaid over a period of up to 10 years and the requirement for appropriate security for the loan can be discussed during the assessment process. This fund is made available through the JESSICA (Scotland) Trust, of which Foundation Scotland is the corporate trustee and applications can be made at any time.
