People’s Postcode Trust provides funding under the following themes:
- Enabling participation in physical activity.
- Enabling participation in the arts.
- Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty.
- Supporting marginalised groups and tackling inequality.
- Improving biodiversity and responding to the climate emergency.
- Improving green spaces and increasing access to the outdoors.
- Providing support to improve mental health.
Who can apply
- Registered Charities – Organisations registered with either The Charity Commission in England or Wales, or with OSCR in Scotland.
- Community Interest Companies (CIC’s) with an asset lock (Schedule 1 and 2 only) – please note the Trust do not award funds to CIC Schedule 3. If the objects section in the governing document is blank or unclear, they will require the CIC36 ‘Community Interest Statement’ form to assess the application.
- Community Benefit Societies – registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, owned by the members. The society is established for the benefit of the community and not its members.
- If you are a different type of good cause, like a constituted community group or other not-for-profit organisation, then please visit partnership programmes for information about available funding.

When to apply
Funding round dates for 2026 are:
- Round 1: 9am 25th March – 12 noon 1st April.
- Round 2: 9am 24th June – 12 noon 1st July.
- Round 3: 9am 24th September – 12 noon 1st October.
