This Fund supports capital projects that create or improve places where people can become involved in and participate in sport and physical activity. Deadline: 1 September 2024.
The Sport Facilities Fund provides investment in capital projects that create new or improved places for clubs and communities to participate in sport and physical activity. We will prioritise our investment into projects that deliver the greatest impact against clear local outcomes.
We will also prioritise projects that have a strong, clear and embedded focus on the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in sport and physical activity, and will be looking for applicants to demonstrate how their project is environmentally, economically and socially sustainable.
Maximum Award is up to 50% of the eligible project cost up to a maximum of £200,000 for certain project types.
Two investment rounds are operated each year. The application deadlines are usually 1 April and 1 September for a decision within three months of the deadline.
