The Sport Facilities Fund provides investment in capital projects that create new or improved places for clubs and communities to participate in sport and physical activity. sportscotland will prioritise their investment into projects that deliver the greatest impact against clear local outcomes.
They will also prioritise projects that have a strong, clear and embedded focus on the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion in sport and physical activity, and will be looking for applicants to demonstrate how their project is environmentally, economically and socially sustainable.
Maximum Award is up to 50% of the eligible project cost up to a maximum of £200,000 for certain project types.
Two investment rounds are operated each year. The application deadlines are usually 1st April and 1st September for a decision within three months of the deadline.
