The Lintel Trust Small Grant Programme

The Lintel Trust provides support for projects helping people to maintain their tenancies, improve their lives and participate fully in community life. Most projects funded offer support to those who are excluded from community activities.

The Trust’s small grant giving programme targets small housing related community projects based in Scotland that have a close connection with a housing association, housing co-operative or other social housing provider such as a local authority. Small grants make up more than 30% of the total project cost

The small grant programme makes grant awards of either £500 or £1,000 to community led grassroot projects with a close link to social housing providers in recognition of the huge differences being made by small community based initiatives. Grants should be used within a 12 month period from the date of the award.

Supported projects should:

• tackle social isolation in housing communities;
• promote digital participation for housing communities;
• enable older people to remain independent and in their own home;
• enable people with disabilities to live independently; and
• assist people moving from homelessness into a secure tenancy.

The deadline for applications is 24 January 2024.
