Trefoil helps children, families, small groups, and organisations that support children and young people with special needs. Applications for holiday grants are open and considered all year.
Trefoil supports many activities, especially sports, art, music, life skills, and adventure projects.
Personal Development Grants are for young people in Scotland under twenty-five years old with special needs, whether mental, social, or physical, that affect their development.
Personal Development Grants are reviewed in February, May, September, and December. The deadline for the next round of funding – TBC.
Organisational Grants are for registered charities or nor-for-profit organisations helping young people with additional support needs in Scotland. Trefoil funds specific projects and the equipment required. The Trust does not fund overhead costs e.g., salaries or capital projects.

Holiday Grants
Trefoil offers holiday grants to children and families who meet their development needs criteria.
Applicants for holiday grants should be under 18 years old and living in Scotland. Trefoil only funds holidays in the UK and does not support overseas trips.
Applications for holiday grants are open and considered all year. Please apply at least 12 weeks before your holiday.
