Trefoil offers personal development grants to foster the independence, confidence, and assertiveness of young people under the age of 25 who have special needs, including physical disability, caring obligations, other disadvantage, or learning and psychosocial needs that can have an impact on their development. Funding is also given to organisations, especially for projects that promote education, health, and social welfare; team building activities; recreation with an educational element; therapeutic activities not core funded by the statutory authorities; new development and start-up project costs.
The deadline for applications for the next round of funding is 9 February 2024. Priority will be given to organisations operating within Scotland or for the benefit of people living in Scotland.
