Trefoil helps children, families, small groups, and organisations that support children and young people with special needs through Personal Development Grants (deadline – 28th April) and Organisational Grants (deadline – 25th August).
Trefoil supports many activities, especially sports, art, music, life skills, and adventure projects.
Personal Development Grants are for young people in Scotland under twenty-five years old with special needs, whether mental, social, or physical, that affect their development. The deadline for the next round of funding is 28th April.
Organisational Grants are for registered charities or nor-for-profit organisations helping young people with additional support needs in Scotland. Trefoil funds specific projects and the equipment required. The Trust does not fund overhead costs e.g., salaries or capital projects. The deadline for the next round of funding is 25th August.
