CashBack for Communities’ Youth Work Fund has changed the lives of over 400,000 young people across Scotland since it began in 2008! Join us for a week of celebration this September.
The CashBack for Communities Youth Work Fund was set up in 2008 to divert and convert the proceeds of crime into life-changing youth work activities in the heart of some of Scotland’s most deprived communities.
Since then, it has gone on to support over 400,000 young people – often those facing the most significant barriers to attainment and wellbeing, as well as those most at-risk of entering the justice system.
While we’re disappointed that the Fund has come to an end, we want to celebrate its fantastic achievements and show decision-makers at every level the positive outcomes that can be achieved when we invest in youth work.
From 18th to 23rd September 2023, we’re launching a week-long celebration of the CashBack for Communities Youth Work Fund, looking back on 15 years of impact, using the hashtag #CelebratingCashBack. We’ll be sharing some jaw-dropping headline figures from across the years, demonstrating the impact of youth work, highlighting case studies and sharing your amazing stories made possible by the Fund.
