Can you help us gather young people’s views on access to careers information and advice?

We want to hear young people’s perspectives on what information they would like about careers and about the job market in their local area. Get in touch by 30th January if you would be willing to lead a 1-hour focus group for young people using materials provided by YouthLink Scotland.

Lightbulb with words relating to careers

YouthLink Scotland is working with Skills Development Scotland to hear young people’s perspectives on what information they would like about careers and about the job market in their local area. We also want to explore how and when young people would like access to this information over the course of their education. Would you be willing to run a focus group with young people in your setting to hear their views and contribute to this important aspect of improving careers education?

We have designed a one-hour focus group session that would need to be run over the next few weeks with the young people’s responses returned to YouthLink Scotland’s Youth Work and Schools Team by the end of February.  YouthLink Scotland will provide materials and guidance to support the focus group.

If you are interested in taking part, please contact Gill Gracie by 30th January.
