YouthLink Scotland in collaboration with the Bavarian Youth Council is leading an exchange visit to Munich from 24 to 28 October 2022.

The purpose of the exchange is to share practice with colleagues in Bavaria and build opportunities for collaboration, partnership and future exchanges, including with young people.

The event is open to youth work organisations in Scotland. This trip is for you if:

• You deliver digital youth work OR
• Your youth work has a focus on girls and young women AND/OR
• You are interested in the intersection between these two themes

A group from Bavaria visited Scotland in June 2022, led by the Bavarian Youth Council and representing different youth organisations in Bavaria. The return trip is an amazing opportunity to build on these links.

Priority will be given where:

• You can demonstrate connection to the themes of the visit.
• Your organisation is committed to organising exchanges in the future.
• You are at an early stage in your career.
• You haven’t participated in this kind of visit previously.

Notes 

• More than one person can apply per organisation, but we will award spaces to maximise the representation of organisations.
• We will seek to represent a diverse and representative range of interests within the group, attempting to connect these with the known interests of our Bavarian colleagues.
• Exact dates, times, flights, accommodation in Munich to be confirmed.

Funding

We are delighted that the Bavarian Youth Council has sourced funding from their foundation to enable this visit. The majority of the costs of the visit are covered. There is a per person participant’s contribution of £260, to be covered by your organisation. YouthLink Scotland are currently exploring potential sources of support for the participant’s contribution.
