Get Into Summer 2021

Summer is here, and after an incredibly challenging period we’re delighted to be working with partners to deliver a campaign to help young people connect with each other, friends and family over the holiday period.

#GetIntoSummer is a national campaign to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people by highlighting and signposting opportunities for them to socialise, play and reconnect with their communities.

To do this, national organisations and local authorities are providing a range of activities for all ages of children and young people across Scotland.

Working in partnership with Scottish Government and Creative Scotland, we want to draw particular focus to the breadth of youth work and youth arts opportunities that are forming an integral part of Scotland’s Covid recovery.

How can you get involved?

First of all, check out the campaign’s Parent Club website to find out what activities are available to young people and their families in your area.

Use the Parent Club resources hub for campaign assets, editable posters and top tips for summer activities!

Finally, please share with us what exciting youth work activities you’ve got planned this summer on social media, remembering to tag YouthLink Scotland, Creative Scotland and Parent Club so that we can share your posts!
