The #LockdownLowdown survey is now entering phase two and will focus on how young people in Scotland are adapting to the ‘new normal’ of life under changing lockdown restrictions.

The survey is a partnership between Young Scot, Scottish Youth Parliament and YouthLink Scotland, who together will analyse the results to help inform the Scottish Government’s future decision making process in relation to Covid-19 and lockdown restrictions.

The initial survey results, published in April 2020, revealed that 96% of young people were worried about the impact of coronavirus on their future, with 77% concerned about their mental health and wellbeing, while an updated report in May delivered detailed breakdowns of key demographics of Scotland’s young people.
