As you will be aware, the Scottish Government’s Covid-19: Local Protection Levels framework, often referred to as the ‘tiered system’, will come into effect from Monday 2 November.

This will mean that a varied degree of lockdown restrictions will be in place across the country, depending on your local authority area. The most up to date local protection levels can be found on the Scottish Government’s website.

We understand that you will be keen to know how this new system will impact your ability to deliver face-to-face youth work, both indoors and outdoors. While we are not able to confirm the full details of any potential changes to existing guidance just yet, please be assured that we are working in partnership with the Scottish Government and we anticipate that guidance for the sector will be approved by Monday, if not before.
