Updated Youth Work Guide for Schools

An update from our Youth Work & Schools team, including a call out for information on the use of Pupil Equity Funding.

YouthLink Scotland’s Scottish Attainment Challenge national programme has published an updated Guide for Schools. It explains youth work’s role in Scottish education, in particular tackling the poverty-related attainment gap as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge. Our programme and the work of the youth work sector are also highlighted in this month’s issue of Education Scotland’s Spotlighting Equity sway.

We are keen to hear from youth work organisations, or schools, about how investment of Pupil Equity Funding (PEF) or Strategic Equity Funding (SEF) is supporting youth work and school partnerships.

Please contact Marielle Bruce mbruce@youthlink.scot if you would like to share your story of partnership.
