In celebration of 20 years since their foundation, Young Film Academy is opening their first ever open categories for the Young Film Academy Awards 2024!
Since 1998, the Young Film Academy community has gathered at the end of August at the British Film Institute (BFI) in London, UK, to host the Young Film Academy Awards. This prestigious event recognises and rewards the finest global filmmaking and screen acting talent aged 8-18.
For The Young Film Academy Awards 2024, there are two new awards categories, entirely open to aspiring young filmmakers worldwide (aged 10-13 and 14-18).
Young filmmakers from across the world are welcome to submit their short films via the Film Freeway festival page.
