Cheviot Youth is looking to appoint a part time Emotional Wellbeing Officer to work within its Youth Work Services team. The roles’ main purpose is to support and help young people experiencing a difficult and challenging emotional life by early intervention through one-to-one work and group programmes.

Applicants will have experience and a particular interest in working with young people with emotional wellbeing needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with children, young adults, and their families as part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team all of whom have mental health training.

The post offers a comprehensive training package, a professional support service, a competitive salary of £25,480 (full time equivalent) and six weeks’ holiday.
