We can also offer training and facilitation support to teams and partners within local authorities. Below are just a few examples of recent work. Please get in touch if you’d like more information about any of the these – or if you would like to discuss facilitation or training support in your local context.
We are currently supporting a consultation by local youth workers with young people from Gracemount High School in Edinburgh to explore young people’s perspectives on barriers to engagement in learning and school attendance. This research will inform collaborative planning between youth work partners and school and is linked to a wider work being undertaken by the City of Edinburgh Council’s Children’s Services Partnership to tackle attendance and engagement, in the wake of the pandemic.
We are providing tailored workshops to support youth work teams with evaluation planning and impact measurement, using the recently refreshed Youth Work Outcomes and Skills Framework.
We worked with the youth work team in Aberdeen to design and facilitate online workshops for youth work practitioners and formal educators from schools across the city to set clear parameters for a youth work approach to education recovery.
Please contact Gill Gracie if you would like more information about how we can support the delivery of your regional improvement collaborative objectives.
