Work with Regional Improvement Collaboratives

We work alongside Regional Improvement Collaboratives where we can support them in delivering their strategic objectives.

West Partnership

In 2022, we worked with the West Partnership to undertake a review of established youth work and school partnerships across seven local authorities to identify hallmarks of good practice, challenges for ongoing service improvement and explore ways of addressing these. This year, we are building on insights from this first phase of work with a new set of youth work and school partners to focus on improvements to joint planning and evaluation.

South East Improvement Collaborative

Since 2020, we’ve been working with the South East Improvement Collaborative.  Initially, we worked with school and youth work partners to design and pilot a partnership approach to impact measurement. We’re now building on this work by establishing and facilitating a community of practice involving representatives of Local Authority and third sector youth work teams from across the South East who are working together to share learning with the formal education sector.

Forth Valley and West Lothian Regional Improvement Collaborative

We’re currently exploring how youth work teams in Forth Valley and West Lothian Regional Improvement Collaborative are working with young people and school partners to recognise and record wider achievement, and gathering a ‘snapshot’ of this data across a number of different programmes to inform practice development.
