The Youth Arts Open Fund, administered by YouthLink Scotland as part of Creative Scotland’s wider support for children and young people, continued to widen access to high-quality arts opportunities across Scotland. Funded by the Scottish Government, the programme focused on supporting children and young people who face the greatest barriers to taking part in creative activity.
The fund supported freelance artists and organisations to deliver high-quality, accessible arts activity for children and young people, with a strong emphasis on inclusion.

Freelance artists could apply for up to £8,000, and organisations up to £15,000, for up to 12 months of delivery.
A total budget of £726,795 was made available for this round.
The Youth Arts Open Fund is helping ensure that children and young people across Scotland, particularly those facing barriers to participation, can take part in meaningful, creative experiences.
The programme supports wellbeing, confidence, creative skills and a strong sense of expression, while widening access to high-quality arts provision in communities across the country.
