Through this course we will explore some key concepts to support a safe youth work environment. This course is designed to complement your organisation’s safeguarding and child protection training and procedures.

What Will You Learn?

  • Awareness of creating a safe youth work environment including: safeguarding and child protection; first aid (this is not a first aid training course); and data protection
  • Awareness of signs of abuse and receiving disclosures
  • Awareness of online safety and cyber resilience considerations and where to get further training and information
  • Have sought out your organisation's policies and procedures for safeguarding and child protection
