YouthBanks provide small grants to projects led by young people, to help benefit the community. A YouthBank is unique in that it is young people themselves who make decisions about how they’re managed and run as well as who gets the money.
YouthBank Scotland is not a grant maker itself but supports young people in local YouthBanks by providing accredited training, learning resources, opportunities to share good practice and regular policy and funding updates. Our Trustees are all young people aged between 16 and 30.
YouthBank Scotland aims:
We offer 3 SCQF accredited training courses:
“Children and young people often have fresh and unique perspectives on current issues as well as new ways of addressing them. By engaging with them, they have the opportunity to influence the Scotland that they live in today and in the future.”
