Join Together (Scottish Alliance for Children’s Rights) for the second session of their 2026/2027 webinar series, designed to support those working with and for children to embed children’s rights in their practice. Using learning from the 2026 State of Children’s Rights Report, evidence from their membership and international reflections to grapple with how children’s rights can be implemented by drawing on the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach: embedding, equality and non-discrimination, empowerment, participation and accountability.

This second webinar will focus on how the UNCRC Act encourages the use of children’s rights tools that are all about getting it right from the start, including Child Rights Impact Assessments to inform decision making, and child rights budgeting to shape spending. You will hear about experiences of using these tools (and more) in other countries and explore case study examples of how organisations are doing this in Scotland today.
