Glasgow 2026 is hosting a Glasgow 2026: Beyond the Games for young coaches, leaders and volunteers aged 16-24 from across Scotland. The event forms part of the Youth Coaching Pathways Project, which aims to use Glasgow 2026 as a catalyst to build long term pathways for young people into working or volunteering in community sport.
The conference will take place at SWG3 in Glasgow on Monday 27th July 9:30am-4:30pm.
The conference will bring together young people from across Scotland and create opportunities to connect with organisations and governing bodies. You will be able to learn about coaching in the community, develop new skills, and meet other young people who are working or volunteering in sport. More details about the programme will be shared when tickets launch soon.
If you are a young person interested in working or volunteering in community sport, this event is for you. Participants can come from any sport and from anywhere across Scotland, and Glasgow 2026 are keen to reach as many young coaches, leaders and volunteers as possible.
