Join Together to develop your understanding of how to implement the five principles of a Children’s Human Rights Approach in your work and organisation with a detailed focus on each principle. The UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024 brought important children’s rights protections into law in Scotland, and taking a Children’s Human Rights Approach is crucial to ensure that children’s rights are implemented in practice.

Whether you’re new to this area or looking to deepen your practice, the session will draw on real-life examples and learning outcomes from the Children’s Rights Skills and Knowledge Framework to support your next steps.  

It will be helpful for attendees to have attended Taking a Children’s Human Rights Approach in Practice session before attending a dedicated principle session. However, all attendees will receive a participants pack to get familiar with materials and key concepts in advance.
