This session will focus on how youth work can support and strengthen young people’s voice within schools, exploring approaches and tools that can empower young people to express their views, influence decision-making, and actively shape their educational experiences.
We’ll share practice examples and discuss partnership approaches between youth work and schools that promote meaningful participation, inclusion, and youth-led change within school communities.
If you have a project or example of practice that you would be willing to share, please do get in touch, your contribution would be very welcome.
As always, the Collaborative is open to all, and new members are warmly welcomed. We meet online with a different youth work and schools theme every 8 weeks, creating a space to share practice, shape priorities, and strengthen collaboration between youth work and schools.
If you would like to showcase your work, or have ideas for future themes for future Collaborative sessions, please contact Sarah Robertson.
