This Foundation adopts a proactive, collaborative approach to closing the funding gap for grassroots charities. Their emphasis is on providing direct, meaningful support that empowers these charities to not just survive, but to flourish.

Through their partnerships with grassroots charities, they help enhance their ability to deliver vital services, adapt to evolving needs, and expand their impact in ways that are both sustainable and efficient.

The Focus Group primarily support projects that fall under the following themes:

Underprivileged children and young people: Helping socially and economically disadvantaged children and young people thrive.
Mental health charities and initiatives: Funding and supporting impactful mental health charities and initiatives.
Charitable or community projects: Backing charitable and community projects near Focus Group’s regional offices across the UK.

The Charity Grant Committee meet four times a year to review grant applications, but dates may vary. These are:

8th December
2nd March
8th June
7th September

Assessment of new applications typically stop four weeks before Committee meetings. Please note that, due to overwhelming demand, they may temporarily close to applications.
