Grants towards recreational holidays or outings within the UK for children aged 13 and under who are from areas of high deprivation, are experiencing disadvantage, or who have a disability. Trips can be to countryside or city locations, but must be outside the children’s immediate locality. Applications for trips between 1st October and 31st December are open between 20th August and 19th November.
Funding covers
One-off recreational trips (e.g. camping, adventure activities, seaside visits). No high-cost places, such as theme parks, musicals, sporting events, or trips with educational or religious aims.
Who can apply
Schools, youth groups, not for profit organisations and charities who are arranging trips for children aged 13 and under in the UK who are disabled or disadvantaged are all eligible to apply. Their priority is reaching the 20% most deprived areas.
When to apply
Applications for trips between 1st October and 31st December 2026 are open between 20th August and 19th November.
