This year the OneCity Trust want to support activities which bring people who are impacted by poverty and social isolation together in ways which are creative, impactful and have the potential to have a lasting legacy. The deadline for applications is 2nd May.
The OneCity Trust exists to tackle the impact that poverty has on people in Edinburgh. While they recognise that their fund cannot solve poverty and social isolation on its own, they believe that simple activities can have substantial and lasting impact on individuals.
In 2025 they want to support activities which bring people who are impacted by poverty and social isolation together in ways which are creative, impactful and have the potential to have a lasting legacy.
Funding Available: In 2025, grants available will be up to a maximum £5,000. However, they recognise that impactful activities can often cost less, and the Trust welcomes applications of less than £5,000.
They want to see projects that promote community activities, reduce poverty and the impact of poverty, tackle inequalities and enhance diversity and equality e.g. lunch clubs, cooking groups, arts and crafts and DIY projects.
