The One City Trust exists to tackling the impact that poverty has on people in Edinburgh. While they recognise that the fund cannot solve poverty, inequalities, and social isolation on its own, the Trust believe that simple activities can have substantial and lasting impact on individuals.
In 2026 they want to support activities which bring people who are impacted by poverty, social isolation, and exclusion together in ways which are creative, impactful and have the potential to have lasting legacy.
Funding available:
In 2026, grants will be available up to a maximum £6,000 each. However, the Trust recognise that impactful activities can often cost less and welcome applications of less than £6,000. One City Trust want to see projects that promote community activities, reduce poverty and the impact of poverty, tackle inequalities and enhance diversity and equality e.g. lunch clubs, cooking groups, arts and crafts and DIY projects.
