SSEN Powering Communities to Net Zero Fund

This fund will support projects that enhance community facilities, services and communication specifically to mitigate the impact of, or support the local response to a significant emergency such as extended power loss or severe weather events or climate change. Deadline: 31st August.

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is proud to launch​ this new fund to support communities during​ prolonged power interruptions caused by storms, aid their ability​ to cope in periods of severe weather, and support​ the adoption of new low-carbon technologies. The fund is split into two categories:

Low Carbon Technology Fund

Community-led Physical and Environmental Resilience Fund

Who can apply?

To be eligible for funding, your project must benefit communities that lie wholly within the Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) area.  Check who your distribution network operator is.
