The Fore

The Fore supports small charities that make a significant impact. They provide unrestricted funding to help applicants grow, strengthen, become more efficient, or resilient. By engaging with you and your charity to understand your needs, their grants aim to create a transformational impact on your organisation. The Fore recognizes applicants as experts in their respective fields, even if they lack extensive fundraising experience. Their approach aims to level the playing field.

They are particularly interested in hearing from grassroots organisations that work with underserved communities. Additionally, The Fore takes pride in being one of the first grant funders for many of the charities in their portfolio. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can explore their grants program and consider applying for support.

Here are the key points about The Fore’s funding program:

• Eligible organisations include registered charities, charitable incorporated organizations, community interest companies (CICs) limited by guarantee, and community benefit societies.
• Your annual revenue should be less than £500k.
• Applicants can be from any location or sector, but they must be registered in the UK.
• If you are unsuccessful in your initial application, you can reapply after considering the feedback you received.
• Current grantees can reapply only after their existing grant has closed and they have had a “grant closure” call with The Fore’s team.
• The Fore does not currently offer follow-on funding.

The registration period for summer 2025 is from 12pm on Thursday 27th March to 12pm  on Thursday 3rd April.
