The MSE Charity

Grants to UK not for profit organisations that deliver activities which make a lasting impact on how people think, behave and manage their money.

The MSE Charity prefers to fund small to medium-sized non-profit organisations with a constitution for example registered Charities, CICs, Credit Unions, excluding statutory organisations. Organisations should have an annual income under £750,000 and have less than six months free reserves.
There are two themed grant rounds per year, there are four different themes which rotate through a two year cycle. A grant round closes early if 40 applications have been accepted, so make sure you apply early in the month the grant round is open.

Raising the Next Generation – projects focused on building financial capability skills and assisting groups who support Children, Youth and Families. Applications accepted from 13th January to14th February 2025.

Living with Long Term Challenges – projects focused on building financial capability skills and assisting groups who support dementia, autism, learning difficulties, disabilities, caring responsibilities, mental illness, brain injury, and stroke. Applications accepted from 15th January to 16th February 2024.

Building & Developing Resilience – projects focused on supporting organisations who provide urgent money guidance and emergency debt help. Applications accepted from 2nd September to 27th September 2024. 

Life Changes – projects focused on building financial capability skills. Grant round now closed.
