The focus for 2026 is on supporting work with young women and girls who are either already in contact with the criminal justice system or at a high risk of involvement with it. The next round is due to open on 7th September and closes on 5th November.
The Triangle Trust 1949 run two grant rounds each year.
Round 1 (April): supporting projects that work with young women and girls aged 11-17 in the following areas: involvement in county lines and gangs, those who are care experienced and those who are either outside of education or at risk of school exclusion. Funding can only be used to work with young women and girls who have been in the criminal justice system or who are at a high risk of entering it, even if your organisation works with vulnerable young women and girls more broadly.
Round 2 (September): organisations working with young women aged 17-30 already in contact with the criminal justice system who need holistic support to help them move away from offending behaviours, such as maintaining safe tenancies, securing and retaining jobs and building secure and healthy family relationships; pre-release and through the gate support for young women to meet their immediate needs and/or support for young mothers up to the age of 30 prior to and after serving a custodial sentence.
Organisations must be working with vulnerable young women and girls who who are already in contact with the criminal justice system and who are highly vulnerable to entering it or who are known to be at risk. Organisations must be led by and for women and girls or have specialist knowledge and expertise and be working primarily or exclusively in specific areas.
Also open is a Small Grants Programme for organisations whose income is below £50,000 and only work with women and girls.
