The VocTech Activate grant fund supports the development of new ideas that use digital tools and approaches to transform how people gain skills for work.
They encourage ideas which have the potential to transform how vocational learning happens, rooted in a real-world understanding of the problems, issues and opportunities in the vocational sector. Projects will need to show how the idea is novel.
Funding is to support for the development of early-stage ideas, small scale testing, proof of concept work and the development of strategies to scale once Ufi funding has ended. This could include:
Ufi funds projects involving charities, private companies, community interest companies and other not for profit organisations.
There is a two stage applications process. Stage One applications can be made online via the Ufi Charitable Trust website.
To help you prepare your application, there are five online workshops to introduce the VocTech Activate grant fund and help ensure it is right for you. Each session provides an opportunity for you to ask questions of members of the Ufi team. Applicants who attend one of our workshops are much more likely to be successful.
