What’s Your Big Idea?! is a small grants fund for young people aged 12-25 who want to get an exciting idea off the ground and turn it into reality. This could be starting a new project with their youth group, developing a new skill, or starting a new project in their community. It is an opportunity for young people to try something new with the security of financial support they may not normally have.
Young people living in Scotland can apply via a Youth Scotland member group for an initial grant of £50 for their idea. Young people can get in touch again and give feedback on how their project went, for the chance of another top-up of £150 to do more with it.
Payments will be made to young people via their youth groups, so as not to exclude anyone from applying for a small grant. Applications are reviewed and awarded on an ongoing basis.
