It’s that time again!
We are delighted to announce the opening of nominations for the National Youth Work Awards 2024. This is your chance to recognise the outstanding achievements of youth workers, managers, youth work projects and volunteers, making a huge difference to the lives of over 400,000 young people across Scotland.
Head over to our dedicated National Youth Work Awards landing page, where you’ll find all you need to know about this year’s awards and the nomination process. To make things easier, this year we’ve got an online nomination form for you to make your submission, which allows you to save your progress and return later.
Nominations are open from 12 December to 26 January, with 14 diverse categories to choose from, reflecting the breadth and impact of youth work practice:
The deadline for nominations is 26 January 2024. We encourage youth workers, managers, volunteers, and young people to nominate individuals or teams who have made a significant difference in the lives of young people.
Please note that nominations are limited to no more than one nomination per organisation, per category. We would also ask that you limit nominations to no more than two nominations across all categories.
Following the closure of nominations, the shortlisting process will take place from 1-12 February 2024, with our esteemed judging panels meeting on 19 & 22 February. The finalists will be announced on 11 March, leading up to our dazzling National Youth Work Awards ceremony on 12 June 2024 at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in Glasgow.
