Become an Erasmus+ Expert Assessor for the UK National Agency

The British Council, set to become the UK Erasmus+ National Agency, is inviting experienced professionals to join the UK Erasmus+ Expert Pool. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that Erasmus+ funding supports high-quality projects that create meaningful opportunities for learners, educators, young people and organisations across the UK and Europe. The British Council, set to become the UK Erasmus+ National Agency, is inviting experienced professionals to join the UK Erasmus+ Expert Pool.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that Erasmus+ funding supports high-quality projects that create meaningful opportunities for learners, educators, young people and organisations across the UK and Europe.

As an expert assessor, you will contribute your knowledge and professional judgement to the independent assessment of Erasmus+ funding applications and beneficiary reports, helping to ensure a fair, transparent and high-quality selection process.

It’s important that there are assessors who are familiar with youth work in Scotland, so we encourage you to apply.

What will experts do?

Experts appointed to the UK Erasmus+ Expert Pool may be commissioned to undertake:

in line with: European Commission requirements, Erasmus+ Programme rules, UK National Agency procedures.
Assignments will be offered according to programme needs and the expert’s field of expertise.

Who should apply?

The British Council are looking for professionals with relevant expertise and experience in the Erasmus+ programme and the sectors covered by the call.

Applicants may apply for one or more fields of expertise.

Please note: A separate application form must be completed for each field you wish to apply for. However, all applications and your CV should be submitted together in a single submission through the procurement portal.

Individuals wishing to be considered for the role of expert in the UK Expert’s Pool must complete the application form contained within the briefing pack and return via the In-Tend portal by 10am on 4th August, as set out in the Timescale section of the ITT. Applications received after this time and date will not be considered.
