The Beyond Srebrenica National Schools Competition is now open to secondary-aged pupils in Scotland. This year, the competition theme is ‘justice’. Young people may interpret this in a variety of ways, but their entry should focus on how we remember and respond to the Srebrenica genocide. Entrants may choose from the following range of submissions:
Entries must be submitted as a link to the piece of work; for performances or projects, please provide photography or films of the work being submitted for consideration. Please do not send in physical artwork, as this cannot be returned.
There are two age categories:
The winning entry in the S1-3 category will receive a voucher for £100. Highly commended entries will receive a voucher for £25.
The overall winner in the S4-6 category will receive a voucher for £100.
All entries must be submitted by email attachment or link to stephaniem@srebrenica.scot by Monday 13th April.
Winners will be informed by Friday 1st May.
