Children’s Rights in Youth Work – Level 1 Introduction

This event is for youth work practitioners (paid and voluntary) who want an introductory overview to children’s rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

A revised 90-minute training developed in partnership by YouthLink Scotland and Education Scotland, this session is an introduction to children’s rights for youth workers in Scotland.

Participants will gain:

• Understanding of the definition of children’s rights

• Understanding the basics of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

• Understanding of the links to youth work and CLD practice

This session will be held on Microsoft Teams and will include a short comfort break. It is interactive so we recommend participants have microphone and camera access to get the most out of the session.
