CYCJ are excited to have launched their very first e-learning course on a brand new e-learning platform – Criminal Exploitation of Children. This course provides a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of professionals when protecting and responding to the children they work with who are at risk of, or are, being exploited criminally.
Action for Children and the Children and Young People’s Centre for Justice (CYCJ) produced this e-learning module to increase awareness and understanding of the prevalence of the Criminal Exploitation of Children. This course provides a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of professionals when protecting and responding to the children they work with who are at risk of, or are, being exploited criminally. Additionally, deepening the crucial message that the criminal exploitation of children is a child protection issue and not criminal behaviour.

The suite of interactive e-learning modules will each take approximately four hours to complete and have been designed in collaboration with experts in particular fields to increase awareness for the learner in themes relevant to this sector.
Each module will have its own tailored aims and objectives and learners can expect to gain a deeper knowledge of subjects whilst also enhancing skills that can be applied in practice. All modules will lead the learner through self-paced, online learning, with interactive scenarios, reflective exercises and practical tools for immediate application.
Each module costs £30 per learner and can be combined with any number of other modules.
