Youth groups in Scotland are now eligible to sign up to The Tree Council’s Young Tree Champions programme! You can apply for up to 5 fruit trees and/or 60 hedgerow trees to be planted this winter and access competitions, resources to care for and connect with your trees. Take it a step further with a full project and receive tech packs, support, workshops and training from Regional Lead, Luisa Brown. Whilst originally aimed at schools they very much welcome all youth clubs to apply.

Young Tree Grower’s Guide now available!
The Tree Council’s newest resource The Young Tree Grower’s Guide has arrived just in time for applying for free fruit and hedgerow trees for your youth club. This free downloadable resource in packed full of activities for young people to engage with nature and the outdoors – whether you have your own trees or not. They are ideal for running alongside the free trees you could also apply for through the Young Tree Champions programme. For any questions do get in touch with Luisa Brown.
