A prestigious programme by the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust designed to empower the next generation of leaders aged 18–25 to shape a future free from identity-based hatred and persecution. Applications close on 28th September.
As an ambassador, young people will delve deeply into the history of the Holocaust, the Nazi persecution of other groups, and the genocides as recognised by the UK Government, which includes Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia, against the Yazidis and Darfur. Through immersive online sessions and expert-led workshops, young people will explore how unchecked hatred can escalate and what you can do to prevent it.
This isn’t just about learning history, it’s about taking action. Young people will gain practical skills in public speaking, event planning, and leadership, and use them to design and deliver their own impactful Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) activity or event. Ambassadors become changemakers, equipped not only with knowledge, but with the tools to engage others and challenge identity-based hatred in your communities.
