Education Scotland are running a series of workshops to develop guidance and indicators for Target 2030 – Sustainable Learning Settings.
It is important that this guidance is co-designed with practitioners, local authorities and partners, to ensure it reflects the excellent Learning for Sustainability (LfS) activity within settings and local authorities, as well as developing our shared ambitions for 2030.
The workshops will explore what a sustainable setting is, through the Campus Community, Curriculum and Culture model. Education Scotland will also work to align this guidance with relevant national and local policies (e.g. climate change, UNCRC, transport etc).
The workshops are open to practitioners across early learning and childcare, primary, secondary, and community learning and development (CLD). There are in-person workshops and online sessions available, giving flexibility to suit different schedules and locations.
Practitioners are encouraged to join one of the following full-day in-person workshops:
Each day will begin with tea/coffee on arrival at 9.30 am. Lunch will be provided.
Places are strictly limited to 30 people per in-person session so early registration is essential.
