A.R Engagement is working with Scottish Government’s Open Government team to deliver 6 small focus group-style public workshops over March 2023 to feed ideas into a report to improve Scottish Government’s Participation Framework, making it more inclusive for use with Scottish society. We will be focusing on:
Workshop participants will be asked to consider equality and diversity, as well as inclusive practices with regards to the Participation Framework. This can include signposting to other relevant resources which are already in existence.
They’re looking for people to contribute their ideas, including people with lived experience and those that represent organisations that work with communities across Scotland and are particularly interested in hearing from those from equalities groups and those furthest away from the Government. This is a chance for you to get your ideas heard – you don’t need to know about the topic as there will be a short presentation on what’s happened so far and you’ll also be sent information in advance of workshops. To say thank you for your time, you will also be offered a £40 voucher honorarium for participating in the workshops.
